UKCCRF22 Rescheduled

February 2nd & 3rd, 2023, in Edinburgh

If you have registered for the September meeting and are unable to attend the February meeting, please email Dawn Campbell for a refund. Registrations will otherwise be carried over to the February meeting.

Letter from UKCCRF Organisers

It is with great sadness that we are contacting you regarding the death of Queen Elizabeth II who died last week at Balmoral, Scotland. Her exceptional lifetime of service will be long remembered by those in the UK and across the world. Her funeral will take place on Monday 19th of September and as a mark of respect we have taken the decision to cancel the UKCCRF meeting which was due to take place in Edinburgh on the 19th and 20th of September.

As one of the main purposes of the UKCCRF meeting is to support and develop future researchers in Critical Care, we will hold a virtual meeting on Tuesday 20th of September and will ask those who submitted research proposals to present them here. This meeting will be free of charge and everyone who was registered for the face to face meeting will be automatically registered for the virtual event. We would encourage everyone who is able to attend, your feedback on these proposals is incredibly valuable to investigators. We will be in touch in the coming days with more details of how to access the virtual event.

It is our intention to reschedule the face to face meeting in Edinburgh, and carry forward registrations when a new date has been agreed. However for those who would prefer a refund, please contact Dawn Campbell (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or financial loss that you might have suffered as a result of this decision, given the exceptional circumstances. We are very grateful for your continued support of the UKCCRF.

Welcome to the
UK Critical Care Research Group

A warm welcome to the UKCCRG website. The United Kingdom Critical Care Research Group (UKCCRG) represents those involved in conducting research in the critically ill in the United Kingdom. We embrace all research studies, from basic science and experimental to clinical trials and health services research. The group was convened in 2010 and has evolved to become the critical care research studies and trials group of the UK. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes by developing new treatments, testing innovative ways to improve care delivery, and by identifying better ways to translate knowledge into practice. We are dedicated to advancing practice through high quality research.
