Register now for the sixteenth national forum for clinical research in critical care, emergency medicine and acute medicine (UKCCRF)! This year’s event will be hosted by Professor Barbara Philips at the University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton, BN1 9PX on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th September 2026. Lunch and refreshments will be served on both days.
The Forum is your opportunity to:
* Present new study proposals
* Provide/receive constructive peer review/feedback/mentorship
* Update on “hot topics” in clinical trials
* Network with peers and meet new collaborators

The Forum will take place at the Chowen Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, Medical Teaching Building, Brighton & Sussex Medical School, University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton, BN1 9PX.

Social Event
Provisional Programme
We invite you to join us at the Delegates’ Social Event, which will take place on the evening of Monday 7th September. The evening will start at 19:30 – 20:00 and will be held in Rockwater Hove, Western Esplanade, Brighton and Hove, Hove, BN3 4FA. Please note that the Social Event will be a more informal night and will not include a sit down dinner. If you would like to attend, please indicate this on your Registration Form/online registration. Please note that places will be limited so register early to avoid disappointment.
If you have any special dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, any allergies…) and did not specify this on your Registration Form, please let me know by Monday 24th August at the latest. If we do not receive your requirements by then, we may not be able to cater for them.
Additionally, if you have any mobility or special requirements, please inform us so that we can try to accommodate these at the venue.
